Thirty minutes, in your home, handled.
Sometimes your pet doesn't need a sleepover. They need a real meal, a real walk, a clean box, and a real human being for half an hour. That's a drop-in.
A drop-in is exactly what it sounds like. I come to your house, spend thirty minutes there, and do whatever your pet needs — then I leave a note, send a photo, and lock up.
What I do in 30 minutes
- Feed (according to your instructions, including measuring portions and any special diets)
- Refresh water bowls and fountains
- Walk dogs (about 20 minutes of the visit, weather permitting)
- Scoop litter boxes and refresh as needed
- Play, brush, and give attention — the part that actually matters
- Administer medications, oral or injected
- Check the house — lights, doors, anything looking off
- Send you a photo and a short note
When a drop-in is the right call
Cats. Most cats prefer their own home to a sitter staying overnight. A daily drop-in is usually plenty.
One-night trips. If you're gone a single night and your dog is housebroken and chill, a late-evening drop-in might be all they need.
Long workdays. A midday drop-in for a young dog while you're stuck in a 9-to-7.
Recovery. A pet recovering from surgery who needs medication on a strict schedule.
Backup care. You have a friend doing house sitting, but you'd like a professional eye on a senior cat once a day.
Pricing
Standard 30-minute visit
$35 per visit. Covers all pets in the household.
60-minute visit
$47 per visit. Useful for high-energy dogs or households with several cats who all need attention.
Holidays
$58 per visit.
How many visits per day?
For most cats: one visit a day is enough.
For most dogs: two visits a day is the floor — morning and evening — and I'd usually recommend a third in the middle if you're gone all day. Honestly, if your dog needs three drop-ins, a house sit is usually the better deal.
Where I serve
Drop-in visits in Eugene, Springfield, Veneta, Cottage Grove, Junction City, and Creswell.
What I don't do on a drop-in
I don't take dogs to dog parks during drop-ins (no time for it to be a real outing). I don't do off-leash unless your yard is fully fenced and you've okayed it. I don't bring my own dog along — your pet's home is your pet's home.
