Cat Care · $35 / visit

Cat sitting by someone who's actually a cat person.

Three years of senior and hospice cat work at Greenhill Humane Society. I know what a quiet greeting looks like, what a sick cat looks like, and the difference between hiding and unwell.

Cats are not small dogs. They don't want a long walk and a wrestling match — they want their territory respected, their schedule kept, and a calm human who reads the room. I'm that.

What a cat visit looks like

  • I let myself in quietly. No big "hello!"
  • Feed — wet, dry, special diet, prescription, whatever your cat needs
  • Refresh water (fountains too — I'll clean and refill)
  • Scoop boxes thoroughly. I'll sweep around them too.
  • Brushing if your cat's into it, play with their favorite toy if they are, slow blinks across the room if they aren't
  • Medication — pills, liquids, transdermal, subQ fluids. I've done it all.
  • A photo and a real note: "Mochi ate everything, hung out under the bed for ten minutes then came out and headbutted me twice. All good."

Senior and special-needs cats

This is where my Greenhill background matters most. I've cared for hospice cats, cats on subQ fluids three times a week, cats with kidney disease, hyperthyroid cats, blind cats, deaf cats, FeLV+ cats, and an awful lot of senior cats who just needed someone gentle.

If your cat is medically complex, mention it on the call — we'll go over routines in detail at the meet-and-greet.

Multi-cat households

No extra charge for additional cats. I'll keep notes on each one — who ate, who used the box, who came out to say hi. If you have a cat who needs to eat in a separate room because they steal food, I'll manage that.

Pricing

$35 per 30-minute visit. All cats in the household covered.

$58 on holidays.

Need a 60-minute visit (multiple medications, several cats, a kitten)? $47.

How often should I book?

For most adult cats, once a day is plenty. Twice a day if your cat is on medication that needs spacing, or if they're a young one who really wants company.

For kittens under six months: twice a day, minimum. Possibly three.

Where I serve

Cat care across Eugene, Springfield, Veneta, Cottage Grove, Junction City, and Creswell.

My own cat is Claude, a four-year-old Maine Coon. So we're aligned philosophically.
