Training where your dog actually lives.
Your dog doesn't need to behave in a training studio. They need to behave on your street, at your front door, and on the walk you take every morning. That's where I train.
I'm a certified dog trainer and Fear Free Certified. Training with me is one-on-one — just you, your dog, and me — at your home and in your own neighborhood.
How I train
Reward-based, low-stress, and paced to your dog. The Fear Free approach that shapes how I handle every animal shapes how I train, too: I watch for the early signs of stress, I keep sessions short enough to end on a win, and I never push a dog past what they can handle that day.
You're part of every session. The goal isn't a dog who listens to me — it's a dog who listens to you, with tools you can keep using after I leave.
Reactive and anxious dogs
This is where I spend a lot of my time. Twenty years of reading body language, three years with under-socialized dogs at Greenhill Humane Society, and a lot of solo walks with dogs most walkers won't take. Training gives us a way to go beyond keeping your dog under threshold and actually help them feel safer.

Training plus walks
If I'm also walking your dog or doing drop-ins, the training carries straight into those visits. Same person, same cues, same expectations, every time your dog leaves the house.
What I'll refer out
I'm a dog trainer, not a veterinary behaviorist. If your dog has an active bite history with people or aggression that's escalating quickly, we'll talk on the phone first. I may point you to a Fear Free or IAABC-certified behavior consultant, and I'm happy to work alongside them.
Where I train
Sessions in Eugene, Springfield, and Veneta.
